Creative Vision
Deshik’s artistic vision thrives for a consummation between the world of the play and the world that he lives in as he feels it. A perfect marriage where he lends his vision to provide the playground to the characters and they in return bring life and meaning to his vision.
He loves creating a world where the unheard, unspoken and unseen has just as much presence as their counterparts.
Artistic Approach
It is the music. The music of the language and the music inspired by the language. To Deshik’s ear, there is a sound design built in the text as it dictates the rhythm, the energy and the music of the characters and their journeys.
It also dictates the sound design that underscores the play which becomes as instrumental as the text for him. This sets up the playground where he can let loose the creativity of artists on and off stage.
Mission

Deshik firmly believes that spiritual nourishment is as essential as the physical one. Depravity of the soul can lead to a similar downfall of our society as an endless drought would. Art is an essential ingredient of soul’s nourishment. It is the duty and the call of the universe to the artists that they never stop making art.
Teaching
As the artistic director of The Shakespeare Company of India, Deshik has taught several workshop from introducing Shakespeare to advanced scene study classes.
His students have not only found success with Film,TV and Streaming platforms but also found admission into RADA and Guildhall.
He is also the Shakespeare faculty at The Whistling Woods Int Film School,Mumbai.

Education
The Shakespeare Company of India prides itself for bringing Shakespeare to schools and introducing the language to thousands of students in form of workshops, lectures and play productions.
Acting
Deshik is an alumni of Stella Adler Acting Academy and is a former acting company member of The Shakespeare and Co,MA.and current acting company member of Te Shakespeare Co of India.
Deshik has played many lead roles in his ten years long career and currently runs his solo show "Vincent" based on the life of Vincent Van Gogh.
